Warm Weekends.

The weather here in good old Rexburg, Idaho this week has been fantastic. Im talking upper 60's mid 70's. We can finally feel that summer is just around the corner. And of course we had to take advantage of the weather. We have been talking about how we need to find camp chairs so we can set them up on the balcony. Our friends Brad and JC found an old rocker at the D.I for a whopping $10. It's great! So Ashton and I searched D.I to try and find some cheap chairs, but of course we were too late and there weren't any left. So we thought we would try the ones in Idaho Falls. Ashton, Brad and I took a trip down and we scored! We found three camping chairs. Now all we do is sit outside and relax.

Friday afternoon Ashton and I actually fell asleep in our chairs, the weather was perfect and we did not have any homework so it was way nice to just relax. Our apartment is always in the sun so we got nice and tan! I now know that I could never live somewhere where there was little sun. We woke up from our little cat nap so rejuvenated! The day just kept getting better. We barbecued hamburgers, played frisbee, and went to JC's soccer game.

Roommates!

Later that night we went to see The Great Gatsby. I love the book and was actually kind of nervous to see how the movie would turn out. I ended up really enjoying the movie. I thought that it was very true to the book. The acting was great, however I did think that the director did some weird things visually but other than that it was great!

Saturday morning Ashton, Parker, Brad, and I got up and went to the Ririe Reservoir. We laid out on the boat docks and attempted to swim, well the boys attempted to swim. The water was freezing! After that we went to Big Jud's. It serves world famous burgers. None of had ever been there and we were all pretty impressed. Later that night Ashton, Brad and I met some other friends at the sand dunes for a bonfire (everyone else was pretty beat and didn't want to go). It was a great way to end a great weekend.

It's weekends like this one that remind me why I go to school in Idaho!
